The Siege of Petersburg

The siege of Petersburg, Virginia (June 15, 1864 -- April 2, 1865) is one of the least studied campaigns of the Civil War. This Web Page is offered to the interested public as a resource of information on the siege. All material here is copyrighted by the publisher, James F. Epperson. Comments should be directed to him at his email address, jfepperson@gmail.com.
Resources:

The web site owes a lot to the assistance of Kathie Rankin (HTML help), Leah Berkowitz and Joe Grau (images). Almost all of the officer pictures came from Joe's web site. The rest, along with some other imagery, were scanned in by Dave Smith of the Cincinnati Civil War Round Table.
